    NX270 insulation

Hello! I have an NX270 with the Clark insulation bottom quilt but it gets cold here in Wyoming so I need an added layer or a different quilt. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution? It's basically the same as the NX250 too. Thanks!!

Hi, LocoLibre gear has underquilts that are made for the clark NX-270. I own one and it is very high quality, and I have no complaints. Check them out: https://www.locolibregear.com/gear.h...gory=130871345

Thanks! I will check them out. How often do you need an underquilt in Louisianna? It's going to get down to 30 tonight, October 6th. I don't miss humidity though! lol

I use an underquilt every time I go camping in Louisiana. If it isn't cold outside I don't go. It is simply too hot, too humid, and too many mosquitoes to go otherwise. I can't wait to get out of Louisiana, it really is a garbage dump.

I switched back and forth between the Z-liner (that I got with my Vertex) and a Hammock Gear 20. The Z-liner simply velcro's on and works well, the Hammock gear was a little fiddly but works well. You could stuff things into the pockets but that usually meant hauling extra stuff to fill the space where the quilt was more efficient. As mentioned, I think Loco Libre makes one specifically for it
