    Old Down Sleeping Bag

It's time to clear out the closet by getting rid of an old car camping rectangular down sleeping bag from the 1970s. I was planning to harvest the down, but lack the time/energy.

It's been stuffed for quite a while, but loft is returning after 24 hours of freedom with occasional shakes. There are still some clumps that break up when worked between my hands. There are no stains.

The baffles are 3.5" tall and the beast weighs in at 4.5 pound, so there's plenty of down in there. But there's nothing to indicate down quality. I expect it's not very high. This would be better suited to a car camping project than for backpacking.

$35 will cover shipping to the lower 48.

About 65" x 75" laid out flat. Sort-of a standard sleeping bag size. No odor that I can tell.

    I'll take it....
Scout Troop mostly car camps, and I expect it would be either a useful spare bag (should a scout be under-prepared) - or a good project base to convert to an underquilt. (For our growing number of hammock dwellers)
