Tensa Outdoor Trekking Trees - A Real Game Changer

For many years now, I have been an avid hammock camper. The biggest challenge I have with a hammock (same goes for tent) is finding a good site to set up my system. Generally, I can find at least one good anchoring point, but often have a challenge finding two. With the new Tensa Outdoor Trekking Treez, that limitation is now all but eliminated. Please take a look at my video on the system and what I think of it:

Thanks for posting this! I’ve been thinking about picking up a Trekking Tree for a while, and your video was the catalyst to get me to finally pull the trigger.

This seems like a good place to publicize our new blog post, wrapping up my 2022 Pacific Crest Trail hike with Tensa Trekking Treez: https://www.tensaoutdoor.com/trekkin...v=7516fd43adaa

The two previous blog posts covered earlier parts of the hike. This one goes into detail about the experience of using them as trekking poles, not just about their hammock function.

A drop is imminent. Subscribers to in-stock alerts outnumber new batch size, however.

thank you Zach for your video. it made today's first test with a single Trekking Tree a success! I am near the top of the weight suggestion for these, so I’m being extremely careful. my testing condition is not reflective of outside at all:

foot end: tree strap+biner to large steel pole supporting steel I-beams.
head end: trekking tree guyed out at 6 feet wide. foot resting on closed cell foam adhered to a steel plate on the floor.

despite the physics being completely sound, I’ll need practice before I’m comfortable depending on this for sleep. fantastic product though! hope to pick up another next year.

I have since successfully hung outside with my single trekking treez pole at the head end for 6 hours or so. The ground did give a little at the foot of the pole, but no more than I assumed for my weight. I'm using 40cm boomstakes and they worked perfectly. time for an overnight!
