Why, if I had a scratchy Midwest cowboy voice you would take all my sketchy stories as gospel truth.
The guys who do those voice over commercials, make big bucks. If my voice was that gruff and tough then everything I say would be true without question.

the 10 am time is jsut for people that want to do the 109 trailhead i might go down thursday and start at yates and camp by the shelter if you start at yates i dont have time frame for that group and i know the morris mtn group can hike any time my self im debating on going down thursday and hiking to the shelter inbetween dusty lvl rd and 109 camping there for the night then continue to 109 first thing in the morning

Most of Uwharrie trail is blazed with white blazes
Spur trails and Dutchman’s Creek Trail are blazed yellow

Uwharrie Trail 109 Trailhead
North Carolina 109, Troy NC
Hike north on Uwharrie Trail 2 miles
Or
West Morris Mountain Campground
Ophir Road # 600, Troy NC
Hike on spur trail (for Uwharrie Trail at trailhead past metal bar crossing the trail head in parking pull out)
You will hike about 200 yards and see posted no trespassing signs and a sign with an arrow pointing to your right.
Turn right, the spur trail is blazed yellow
Hike about 300 or 400 yards and see a wooden sign for Uwharrie Trail North and South
Go south, now the trail is blazed white
Spencer Creek Bridge is only a one mile hike from trailhead parking pull out.
I use AllTrailsPro and download trail maps at home with WI-FI then I can bring any previously downloaded maps for trails and see maps on my phone even when there is no cell service
