Yep, I’m be considered getting round hollow stakes with a nail head type top—that are a bit longer than my Walmart stakes.
When my stakes are in loose forest duff, I put a rock or log on top of Zingit guyline at the stake.
I might get longer stakes to hold their own, without having to add a rock or log, as often.
Apple and other vendors offer something called AirTags (Apple's name for the device). You could attach one to each stake. They have helped me find my keys and my wallet. Of course, I could just pay more attention, but what's the fun in that?
At stake pickup time I carry the stake bag around with me and put the stake in as I pull up the line. I'm still wishy-washy about leaving the guys on the hammock or attaching them with a clip-on line loc. The stakes come out of the bag and to into the bag. And yes, sometimes I forget where I put the bag.
