Two Speed's Hiking Videos and Gear Reviews
Two Speed Hammocks, Hammocks and Accessories
I’m hoping for some 50* nights to slow mosquitoes down a bit. Still bringing bugnet on hammock. I was gonna quit drinking coffee before Grayson but I figured I was already hard enough to coexist with hammock creatures. I’ll be drinking one or two small mugs of coffee ever morning, just to be sociable.
I was gonna have a gear dump-sale, but thought better of it. My apologies are extended to you all, for acting without thinking.

Wouldn't be the same without you and your coffee brother PG!
And that's mighty nice of you to make those gear items available to borrow!

Sometimes I act without thinking, oops, sorry!

I have talked with others about selling hiking, camping gear they want to sell to a hang.
I have been told that it was a very good idea and I'm sure others would agree.
I've got a few things myself.
Let me check in with a mod to be sure I don't get myself or others in trouble and I'll report back.

I’m stoked, ready to camp with all the kool kids at Grayson. Give it two weeks and higher elevation and (my guess) it’s got to be cooler weather than this summer
I was there 2 weeks ago and it was low 60s up at Mt Rogers but stayed right around 70f overnight at Old Orchard which is ~4,000’. elevation. Mountain Forecast is showing overnight lows in the low 50s range with a warm front (mid 60s) possibly coming middle week of 9/19, but that’s at the higher elevations.
Yes, it's always cooler up there, as opposed to here in the rolling piedmont of NC!
Going to be some good sleeping weather! Bring what you need to stay warm.
Last year, it had been so hot and sticky here that I couldn't imaging needing more than a light, summer top quilt.
Slept a little cold the first night and then, I borrowed a little warmer top quilt from Tom Tom.
Thanks man.
Don't forget your chairs.

About selling, swapping camping gear, I was told by a moderator that that's fine, but we cannot describe what we have here.
Was told that others, not going to this hang might see these things described, want to buy and things would go downhill from there.
I will have a thing or two and I think Phantom may as well.
