Probably no Big Blue Taro
Probably no bodacious chili
YOU can bring any-all-or none of the above

There is still a bear problem
Everyone is responsible for their own safety

There is a good creek for water at Enchanted Forest campsite

The bear that marauded last years John Rock Hang is still there—now a hundred pounds heavier-almost full grown.

As you can see: I ain’t hosting!

Sounds like a rollicking good time to me! Any trail issues to be aware of? I know that was part of the discussion on having this hang again.

The first wooden bridge is gone from the flood
Hikers have placed a few sticks and logs across creek. If too precarious, wade across creek about calf deep. Rest of bridges are usable with minor damage.

Son of a beaver! I'm gonna miss this one this year. My arm will still be in a sling from surgery...doesn't make for comfortable pack haulin' or hammock sleeping. Even if I tried to hammock and Yogi shows up I'm sure I wouldn't be able to move fast enough trying to get out of the hammock and become a midnight snack for him and BooBoo.

I use AllTrailsPro, Cat Gap Trail to John Rock Loop
I down loaded map onto my phone while at home using WiFi
If you wait until you are at parking lot, there is no signal there. But if you down load map EARLY, then you can use your phone for AllTrailsPro without a good signal?
Hike Cat Gap Loop in a counter clockwise direction, by taking Cat Gap Loop Trail entrance closest to Fish Hatchery Park building (now fenced off for demolition or repairs)
It’s about 1.2 mile up Cat Gap Loop Trail

Yep - I'm right-handed & it's the right shoulder. Had to learn a whole new way of wiping my buttocks!
