I've recently completed a Cedar Ridge 0 degree UP matched set. Haven't been able to test it yet. Quality looks good though.

Note: They were having trouble getting fabric at the time, and this delayed my order. It would be a good idea to call and see if they have what you want in stock and order well before you need it.

What hill could you possibly be over down there? Did somebody build one?

I have 20 degree and 40 degree UP insulated UQ/TQ sets from Cedar Ridge Outdoors. I've slept comfy in the 20 degree set at 14F. They make the identical quilts with down so you can directly compare weights and prices on their website. They also have some videos comparing compressibility and water retention.

Curious where you ended up on this. I'm looking to get my first winter under quilt and the Cedar Ridge UP quilt is definitely on the short list of contenders. The other option is an HG Econ quilt.

I do not know what the UP is, but I have a synthetic from Arrowhead Designs that has been great for using on my WBRR and the Hammocktent 90s. I do have a down UQ from Cedar Ridge that is on my everyday DH Sparrow and the workmanship is great.

It has been available since 2018 and I've also wondered why it hasn't caught on. But from a manufacturing standpoint it must be a heckuva lot easier and less work-intensive to use CS batting that doesn't require baffled construction.
