I had this setup and it's easy to cross the zippers and start zipping from the wrong direction -- there are distinct fronts and backs here, which you have to line up. But as long as you have the right ends connected, you can have the bottom cover zipped to the bugnet, or the top cover replacing the bugnet and zipped to the hammock. I usually just zipped the top and bottom covers together as a giant sock and covered both hammock and bugnet. I remember one dark cold night trying to set up and I had a lot of trouble figuring out which were the matching ends, and after that I just always kept them zipped together on one side so I could just throw it over the ridgeline and go.
