So I'm now a Warbonnet Ridgerunner guy, and selling off my Blackbird XLC setup. I've put about 15 nights on it I guess and a few afternoon naps. I enjoyed it very much, but prefer my Ridgerunner and only want one to store and fuss with.
I would like to sell this as a kit in one shot.
I'm selling the following for *$450 total*
1. Blackbird XLC Style: Lightweight Double XLC
Hammock Fabric: Dark Red | 40D Dream-Tex Nylon Outer, 15 Nylon Inner
Suspension Options: Polyester Webbing w/ Buckles + Pair of Carabiners
2. Mountainfly Tarp
Tarp Fabric: 20D Silpoly
Tarp Color: brown
3. Wooki® Underquilt
Fill Type: 850
Wooki Length: XL (Blackbird XLC & Eldorado)
Temperature: 20°F (-6°C)
Quilt Fabric: Olive Green | 20D Ripstop Nylon
Add-Ons: Add Stuff Sack + Storage Bag
4. Panel pull kit for tarp
5. XLC/Eldorado Underquilt Protector
Underquilt Protector Color: Fern Green
6. XLC Winter Topcover
Topcover Color: Fern Green
Together 5 and 6 form a sock (which Shug called the chinook?). You can also take the bugnet off the hammock and zip the topcover to the hammock if you want.
I'll pay shipping.
You'll get a full Blackbird xlc setup with 20* wooki underquilt, mountainfly tarp, panel pull poles, and top and bottom covers (chinook). And the original suspension and the silpoly snake skin. I'll leave the rigging I put on the tarp (Warbonnet's zingit I guess) unless you want me to take that off.
PLEASE NOTE: one night I damaged the wooki by getting in it instead of the hammock. The wooki itself was undamaged, but the end rubber band came off and I tore the little cloth loop on the side that you use to tie to the side of the hammock. I replaced the rubber bit and sewed the loop back on, but didn't do a great job sewing. I can provide pictures of whatever. It's all in good shape, stored in a non-smoking house, the down was stored loosely in a bin, etc. The tarp is water-proofed by me with the warbonnet kit -- it's probably not pretty but it stays dry underneath.
Also note no topquilt is included.
It's a great setup, but I'm just a Ridgerunner user now (and I went to a 13' custom Mountainfly to fit the Ridgerunner).
