Any plan for a bug net? I bet bugs are brutal in Thailand!
    thank you for comment.

I plan to make this hammock and sell it. Yes in Thailand we have a lot of mosquitoes so i must add bugbet too.

by the way nobody comment about chair mode, don’t you like this?

I do! That is the main thing I like about the Amok better than the HT.

I think that’s a great alternative to the amoks chair mode! Looks great! I would love to see a pic of someone laying down on the pad in sleep mode to see how flat it truly is. It actually looks much simpler than the amok setup.

As a 90 degree hammock modifier I'm glad to see you giving a go at R&D. Attached is a similar design I conjured up spring 2020. There is more to a fabricating a comfortable flat lying 90 hammock than a 90 degree chair due to the natural arc of a gathered end. How flat is the lay in your design? I look forward to seeing more as you work on your design.

In addition, I have another design that I shared with a vendor this spring. They expressed interest and we communicated several times, but I have not heard back from them in a while. Of course, it is my hopes that their R&D team is assessing the design. I know that it takes a lot for a vendor to walk the sharp edge of actually bringing a product to market.

On edit: Apparently I was typing this post as you were posting the laying in a hammock picture and I didn't see it. It looks pretty righteous. Albeit, I still think my 'secret' design has some additional benefits of being adjustable, being able to use either a pad or UQ, and an added comfort measure to boot.

Wow! Thank you for comment and share your design. first prototype i make all straight line flat lay but i have problem when i change sleep positions or bend my knees, fabric will fall down and can’t hold my body. so must lift part of foot a bit.
