Those that were on this trip, you may remember that one shoulder strap on my GoLite backpack was hanging by a couple threads when I got to camp.
It was pulling loose were it attached at the bottom.
Thanks to Tom Tom having a needle and upholstery thread, I was able to sew it up good enough to get me back to the car.
It was a challenge pushing the needle through, even with PG's leather glove.
Today, I got out the sewing machine and sewed a shorth length of webbing to the pack and the shoulder strap.
It aint purdy but I think it will hold just fine with the light loads I plan to carry.
