Does anyone know if Dutchmans Creek along side of Beech Camp where we are camping is big enough to hold trout? Or what about the larger tributary this creek follows into? Thanks

No trout I the Uwharries that I know of. Water is too warm. Pan fish and bass in the Uwharrie River.
Would anyone happen to know what restaurants have the small packets of relish?

Hardee's maybe because they sell hotdogs.
Lol try stopping in gas stations they might have some if they have hot dogs

PG - Sorry brother, won't be able to make this one. I made a MooseTake and already agreed to work this weekend to help someone in need.
We could probably make a MayLay, get together of sorts in May (since I don't have to work the race anymore) lol before the heat rolls in. Somewhere between Mothers Day (5/8) and Memorial Day (5/30) weekends.
Have fun and give someone else my cheese and coffee.

"before the heat rolls in" is best for Uwharrie.
May sounds like a good idea.

Health has kept me from backpacking for some time.
My Pure, pump, water filter is long gone. I plan to get a gravity system.
Still trying to decide on one but I won't have it this weekend.
So, I'm hoping someone will let me filter some water for camp.
Also, I welcome pros and cons for some of the gravity filters people are liking.
