    *Update*

So I did hear back from a Haven rep right after the July 4th long weekend and she had everything sorted and shipped right away. Derek himself checked in to tell me he was going to get somebody on it. I replied that somebody already did and had everything shipped out first thing in the morning.
I received my Ridgeline Light on Friday, and my replacement mattress and extension straps are due to arrive on Thursday.
I'll follow up on the quality of the new mattress next week.

Also a great place to ask these questions is on the Facebook group “haven tent adventures”. Derek himself chimes in often. If this posting is not allowed please delete.

Yes. I found if you tried to raise it while inside, it would slip all the time and wouldn't hold. However, if I adjusted it while outside, and then went in, it held fine.

I wrapped the upper buckle with a small strip of gorilla tape. Holds great now. Takes a little extra effort to release but it still releases from inside. I wrapped it so that it is not trying to unwind the tape when letting it down under pressure.

Next weekend will be my first use of the Haven Safari I got in May. I had shoulder surgery early June which killed any hammocking until now. I will be up above the White Mountains & the overnight lows are forecast to be around 30-34F (as of now anyway). A couple things I'll be trying for warmth. I bought a roll of reflexit and will fashion up a 30"x80" piece of it to put under the air mattress. I also have a Zenbivy Bed 10 degree I'll be using. Hopefully snug as a bug in a rug! Pictures forthcoming after I return.

I ended up sleeping in it only one night (brought a new battery CPAP to use outside, but brought the wrong hose ). Overnight low was 38 degrees F and the combo of reflectix under the pad, a pad slip case and the Zenbivy 10 degree was great! In fact...too warm. I will be using this again in a couple weeks at the Yates Place hang in NC.IMG_4211.jpgIMG_4213.jpg
