I’d like actively participate in the forum going forward, with trip reports being my main focus. TR’s have provided so much inspiration for my hammock adventures, and I(hopefully)want to provide the same!

Just south of Rochester myself...born in the city, actually.
We live in a great place for the outdoors...a few hours from just about everything and plenty of overnights and kayaking within an hour for me. Don't care for the winters but the location is perfect.
Welcome, Samuel4130 — although you joined HF 3 years before I did!
As you can see I'm downstate, Westchester county, and I try to take advantage of the many great outdoor opportunities in NY and the Northeast in general.
