How do I store this continuous ridgeline? | Untangling this is driving me crazy!

Follow-up for this thread. After several more trips I finally settled on the best way for me. It's so simple I feel like a fool but what else is new. I store the ridgeline connected to the tarp, with the tarp stored in the snakeskin. When it comes time to set up I lay the snake skin out.

Then I just detach the ridgeline from the tarp. I set up the ridgeline and then re-attach the tarp. Then when it is time to take down, once the tarp is back in the snakeskin, I detach it from the ridgeline, take the ridgeline down and reattach the tarp before packing away. I was making this a lot harder than it had to be.

Why go through the trouble of removing the ridgeline - especially when you also employ snakeskins?

With either a double or single skin, I slide the skins onto the ridgeline after I secure the it to the supports (trees). Then I position and guy out the tarp on the ridgeline.

When time to pack up, I un-guy, slide the skin on, unhook from one end and fold up the skin as I walk to the other end. That leaves the ridgeline extending from each end. Finally, I wrap the each ridgeline end, separate from the other, around the bundled skin.

To deploy, I unwrap enough of the hook end for the ridgeline to secure it to the tree, then walk towards the other tree, letting out the snakeskin and controlling wrapped line on the unsecured end. That llne goes around its tree and anchors (Wasp, Fleaz, toggle, AlienLoop, tautline hitch, etc.). Then the skin is pulled back and the sides guyed out. I use Nama Claws to position the tarp on the ridgeline. Prusik knots would work as well.

No need to put on/take off the ridgeline from the tarp.

I've always packed my CRL attached to my tarp. No problems no worries. How do you even get the tarp in a set of snakeskins after removing it from the CRL?

The ridgeline is too heavy with the tarp attached. I'm not able to set it up easily.

To be clear, the ridgeline is not running through the snakeskin, only the tarp. So you have this tarp wrapped up in the snakeskin with toggles sticking out of each end, attached to the ridgeline. I keep it stored like that which mercifully has solved my tangled ridgeline issue. Then I just need to detach, setup and reattach. Here's a pic which gives an idea:

I'm w/ Cougarmeat on this one. I take the tarp filled snakeskin w/ ridgeline attached and hang it over my shoulders, then I attach the non-adjustable end of the ridgeline to one tree, after that I walk to the other tree letting the filled skin play out. Once there I walk around the tree w/ that end of the ridgeline and back to my adjustment piece (a wasp) and tighten it up.
Tarp and skin are never on the ground that way.
