    The ATC ran a social media campaign that solicited these "love letters" to the Appalachian Trail, and I of course made sure hammocking played a part in my submission.

    Thanks for sharing this. I spent a lot of time in the 80s as a teenager along the AT in North Carolina and committed to hiking it at some point. I’ve done plenty of section hikes but not sure when/if life will afford me the opportunity to commit a block of time to finish it. A national treasure indeed.
