    Warbonnet 20D Silpoly Tarps

Can anyone confirm if Warbonnet is now using a Xenon silpoly with gridstop vs the non-gridstop version? My Thunderfly is smooth with no gridstop but I’m looking at a used one that has a grid pattern. Did they update the silpoly material?

Interesting. So I went pulled out my Thunderfly I got back in 2018 and a Mambajamba I got last year (both silpoly).

If you zoom in on the gridstop, you can see the threads like above in the Thunderfly.

Thanks. The used Minifly I’m looking at has the gridstop like your Mambajamba. The Thunderfly I have looks exactly like yours. The owner has the original order sheet which does specify 20D silpoly, but when I saw the gridstop I thought perhaps they shipped him a silnylon by mistake. He bought it in 2020, so it appears Brandon is using a different silpoly material now.

The weird thing is...the Thunderfly is olive brown, but it really looks more green than brown when backlit and zoomed in. The Mambajamba is evergreen.
