Hi!

When people call asking this question I always ask them how they sleep to determine which one will work best for them.

I'm 6'2" 200Lbs and mostly sleep on my back. I prefer our Multi-Function (narrower) quilts to the Big Meadows (Wider). When I do use a wider quilt it feels like a lot of excess quilt in the hammock.

I have a buddy who is 6'4" 215, side sleeps, curls up in a ball, and moves around a bit. He always goes with the wider quilts.

The key is to go with a quilt that will fit you comfortably without being pulled taught. When a quilt is pulled taught the inner and outer fabric to draw together and can prevent the down from fully lofting which will functionally lower the quilt's comfort rating. The loft can be reduced even more by a body part (elbow, shoulder, hip) poking into the taught fabric.
