how do you tell which is the head end on a dangerbird?
how do you tell which is the head end on a dangerbird?
Your feet will be at the other end!
Lol
Someone who knows will answer soon.
If not, ask the vendor.
Some vendors put their logo nearer the head end.
This is not always so.
And some vendors place their name about in middle of hammock.
Or your hammock might be perfectly symmetrical, then I’m guessing you could use either end as head end.
I’ve got hammocks that could be used either end as head end. But I have designated head and foot ends so that I’ll not be laying my head, face, and arms on a more soiled end that might have soil or forest duff from my pants cuffs. Also there is a small chance of getting poison ivy from where I walked, onto bottom of pant legs, and then to my bare arms and face.
I’m sure someone knows!
I believe on a dangerbird, the storage sack for the top you are using is at your feet.

You would normally position your feet towards where the net or overcover is attached to the hammock and/or stuffed into it's provided peak bag. The net or overcover then zips up towards the head end.
Since your hammock has extra zipper sliders on both sides of the hammock, it really doesn't matter unless you choose to have pockets or add features on one end or the other. In terms of body construction, it doesn't matter a bit.
thanks for the responses.
Just to follow up on an old thread:
If a Dangerbird has both a bugnet and overcover, do they store at opposite ends or at the same end?
