    Dutch is doing it up!

Dutchware Gear has a new bonded ridgeline tarp that can’t leak
    Not sure of all details.
Maybe there will be a 12’ wide version someday
But I’m not sure, I’d get it, I already have several tarps.
Dutch I’m glad to be alive at same time as you. Maybe I’m not as alive as you, but I can still keep up with you on coffee drinking.
    Thank you Dutch!

I never had a ridgeline leak and never worried about it.

But I wanted something like this back in my tenting days. It would have been nice to have a waterproof rainfly without the peeling or flaking tape.

why is this in the forum for southeast camping?

Not trying to be snarky but don't places like HammockGear already make waterproof ridgelines on their DCF rainflies?

I’m not sure OneClick, I didn’t know if tarp ridgelines leaked—maybe not.
Lots of stuff I need to learn!

Ewker, all my original OP posts pop up in southeast camping.
I don’t know how to make that stop.

If I reply to posts, not in southeast camping, it stays in correct section.

    Phantom, not tech savvy, sorry.

Packman9000, ooops, you are correct, sir.
I thought it was a new innovation. It is in lightweight sil poly.

Has anyone ever had their tarp ridgeline seam leak?
Hasn’t happened to any of my 3 tarps by Dutch DCF, Hammock Gear DCF, Trailheadz sil poly.
All three vendors kept me high and dry.

Maybe this is a worthwhile new product.
Or it could be a solution looking for a problem.

Gents, I guess a lot. At the same time, I keep an open mind. Lots of smart campers here on Hammock Forums.

Further study, may be required on my part. I never know what I might learn next, as I was smartest kid in third grade…two years in a row!

Yes, I've had my superfly leak at the ridge and at the side panels. I have no been impressed with my superfly one bit. My other tarps are from wilderness logics, and I never had a single problem with them.
    I'd rather be hanging.

First click on the "FORUM" tab up on the tool bar, sort of near the top. That will switch the forum to show you all the Forums and "Sub" forums you have access to. Then select the Forum you feel your post should be placed into. Click that forum name and it will open to that forum. There is a place to start a New topic. So for this one, Click the "Forum", the click the "Dutch" sub-forum. Then start a new topic up at the top, has a "+" sign in it.

Looks like a moderator moved this topic over to Dutch. But starting new topics saves moderators time
