Alright, alright, alright. We have 60 people signed up for our Spring MAHHA. It's wonderful to see everyone getting excited to bust out of houses and enjoy nature in the warm air and fragrance of pines.

To better prepare for the event, if you have already signed up and haven't indicated, please mark what you'll be bringing in the columns beside your name. So far we have 4 main dishes to feed 60 people. <3

I know MAHHA attendees usually pull through last minute, but I don't wanna give Dutch a heart attack in 3 weeks with the stats I'm seein'.

    Y'all rock! Cheers and daffodils.

Looks like I'll be able to make it this time! If the good lord is willing and the creek don't rise!

I always like going SOBO; somehow, it feels like going downhill.

What is the weather typically? Is there a "typically"?

The creek will surely rise. Commute by boat.
    See you there TreeBeard.

This is a great question. Since it's Spring in PA, there is always a chance of rain, so bring your boots. Predicting the weather will most assuredly make me a liar, so here, I'll say that it could be low in 40's and high in the 80's with a chance of snow and sweating?
Honestly, Monkey Toes, I just check the weather app prior to packing and throw in my rain coat and an extra wool blanket in case.
Looking forward to a great time.

There's an app for weather? No Way. Hoping to make it but I am usually a last minute committer.

Really bummed I’m going to miss this one, but I have a good excuse. I’ll be backpacking with my daughter in Yosemite, and yes, she’s using a hammock too.

    Have a great time, everybody!

    Hey, hey!

Who’s getting excited for MAHHA??? Just under 2 weeks, and we will all be together having an absolute blast!

Drum roll, please…because our vendors are just that awesome…there will be a mini raffle after all! Because some vendors just tell us “You can’t stop me!” So, there will be items from:

    Jacks R Better
    TrailHeadz
    Simply Light Designs
    Cedar Ridge Outdoors
    Dutchware

We will hold the raffle immediately after dinner Saturday evening!

Huge shout out and thanks to these vendors for going above and beyond!

Also, just a quick note: be sure to check back here, because we will have a schedule rolling out by the end of the week!

A schedule??? When did things get so organized?

I swear I overheard the following conversation last year:

    Attendee: "When is breakfast?"
Dutch: "When I get done making it."

Every day my life is orchestrated down to the half hour by my work calendar. It gets so bad that I sometimes put a fake meeting on my calendar to ensure I have time to go to the bathroom between all the other meetings that get added. One of the joys of MAHHA is that I get to put the calendar away for a few days.

Speaking for myself, I look forward to living by "Dutch time"!

Sounds good to me! Ha-ha We just wanted to be fair and give a heads up to those that like to sleep, nap, and chill.
