Very timely post. I usually work on my hammock gear during deep snow months here in the NW. My latest effort was to add three plastic snaps along the sides of both of my WBBB XL hammocks and matching snaps along my 20* and 0* wookie under quilts. That helps snug the UQ to the hammock and gets rid of any gaps. I used size 20 T5 plastic snaps and placed one where you secure the wookie to the footbox. The wookie fabric is a bit delicate so I added a small reinforcing strip of sticky back dyneema folded over the edge of the wookie at each snap location. Seems to work great.

I've thought about adding some snaps onto mine too. A little reinforcement at the snap site is not a bad idea.

For what it's worth, the little knot I made in the fabric on the foot end (other thread), is working really well for now. It snugs up nicely on my shoulder, and seems to snug up the opposite side (foot side) pretty well too.

A few DRings on the upper edge and you could put a shock cord over the ridge line and snug it up. And it pulls the sides in. I do this with my SLD trail winder UQs. Makes a difference without having to go to tight with the UQ suspension
