Ze_Mind,
I have an older Hennessey Expedition bottom entry I am not using. If you are interested in paying the shipping I can send it to you to try. If you like it we can probably work something out. PM me if you are interested.
Best to you!

The pictured hammock is nothing like an 11' camping hammock that is standard issue around here. Given that, it does look like you could run a pseudo "ridgeline" between the hammock stand ends. Some kind of strap from a hardware store with a cinch buckle would do. It would help with balance at a minimum and possibly could be weight-bearing enough to get you over the hump. Good luck.
I actually just swapped out my vivre hammock for a new one after about 4 years of nightly use. It finally tore on me when pushing my feet against the fabric while getting out of it one morning. I've found that the best way for me to get out is to rotate on my butt while gripping the edge of the hammock so that I can get my feet on the ground. Then I grip the edge of the hammock with one hand and pull while pushing my other fist into the bottom of the hammock. This allows me to pull myself up and provide a firmer seat that is slightly higher. These are generally enough to allow me to stand up easily with minimal effort.
