Great photos, Chknbone! That was, indeed, me scouting for firewood. Another Sasquatch sighting debunked.

Greatly enjoyed this winters hang. Great to see “Old” friends and meet new ones. The weather was an absolute joy without the winds and the temps were what we wanted. Gear tested and performed outstandingly with the exception of the new addition of the hot tent and stove (definitely a learning curve), but enjoyed the warm fire as I feel asleep.

Going to take a few more nights to get the damper settings and types of wood dialed in, but they are a nice addition to my addiction….I mean collection.

Again, as usual, Grayson hang was top notch and well planned. Thanks Hickery for all the work and Slowhike and Rockdawg for keeping the thread updated and all the behind the scenes leg work that make the GHSP hangs so great.

P.S. Gunner, glad to hear everything turned out ok for you. Was a little worried when we say you were gone.

I took a solo hike on Friday down to the waterfall on Cabin Creek. And WV tried out the Amok.

It ain't always about hammer'n out the miles....Sometimes it's about just 'hanging out"!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Grayson. Truely a very relaxing hang. As it should be we all took care of one another and the food and coffee were fantastic. I couldn't have had a better time. I'm also glad everyone enjoyed my grub and thanks for all the compliments.

Amen on the learning curve, brother. We had the same issue on the night that it got down to 18. Night before it was great.

I had an awesome time for my 3rd group hang and was it a cold one too. Came away with some nice pics too. I think the rarest picture of all is WV sitting down, mind you he's still working on the charcoal that is in front of him. Thanks to all of you for a great trip!
