As an arborist I buy mine from Treestuff.com. You can use coupon code "Arborist", for ten percent off anytime. I always have plenty on hand. Samson is very good.

Good to know. For 1.75mm TreeStuff + coupon code is slightly cheaper than Dutch. I didn't investigate applicable shipping on either site.

Treestuff and Sherrill Tree both have free shipping over $100. All tree items would be over that amount but one spool of throwline wouldn't be. I order from them every couple months. If anyone would like I can order extra and mail it to you. i always keep several thousand feet on hand if someone just needed 20 or 30 ft I'd be glad to send you a piece. Once it gets a little wear a 200 ft piece will start to tangle and become less dielectric so I take them out of service and use them for other things. Always plenty of used but still good line in the shop if anyone needed some.

I'm not trying to take any business away from DutchGear. I actually ordered some line and wasps from them a few weeks ago. And will be ordering more titanium goodies pretty soon. I just thought if someone needed a short piece there's no need ordering several hundred feet from an arborist store.
