Gonna bring the wood stove for the tent just in case. You guys know that we are snuggle bunnies and like to sleep together. The hot tent is the best thing ever happened for us. Look forward to using all year long. AWWWWW!
Been watching the forecast and with the mid 20s overnight Sat after a soaking rain, the kids and I will just be there for Fri night and leave Sat after dinner. My gear doesn't go that cold and while I would risk it myself, I can't put the kids at risk of getting sick. We'll have a good time during the time we're there anyway.
I'm planning some bags of chips and cookies for my potluck contribution along with cash supplement.

Well Imma' just shot straight and say it, I'm not man enough for the forecasted weather! As much as I really enjoyed the Fall hang and expected this one to be equally enjoyable I'm going to back out. Perhaps I'll invest in some colder weather gear by the time it warms up.

Sold on the store bought (HG stuff) quilts. No more sleeping bags! 2 40° top quilts on the way. If SHTF at least we will have a place to live!
Well, I’m going to bail now too, my wimpy “20 Degree Lynx UQ” will only work to 35 degrees so I’ll have to wait until it warms up a little more next time.
It’s always sad to hear that friends can’t make it.But there’s always next time.
The worst part is the lack of shared body heat around the fire! We’ll just have to depend on Joyrides “bonfire” skills.
