    Cool Silpoly XL Winter Haven

    I'm the proud owner of a new 12' Silpoly XL Winter Haven I've been looking forward to this day and can't wait to get some use out of it.

    I've got it set up in my yard to figure out different configurations. It's definitely more tarp than my cloudburst but not in an overwhelming way. I love the extra space afforded by the XL fabric and interior pole. I envision it being useful for rainy days where you need some breathing room. Without the pole, it's a bit more cozy but still great coverage.

    I'm a fan of Line Locs so went with those on the tie-outs. It's nice to have both loops or line locs as options depending on the cord or stakes I have on hand.

    Snaps on the door as a why-not option and think they should be handy.

    The quality is truly top-notch. The tie-out points are beasts and the stitching clean. Having it already seam-sealed is a huge plus.

    Here's the order details:
    • Color/Fabric: Dark Olive / Silpoly XL
    • Length:: 12
    • Catenary Cut:: Yes
    • Side Panel Pull Outs:: Yes, Ridge Runner Spacing (78")
    • Door Ends:: With Snaps
    • Line Locs:: Yes
    • Tarp Pole Set:: Interior - Single Pole

    And some pics

    Looks great — you bought well!

    I've always been super happy with anything I got from Jared. Recently ordered a ground tarp and can say without question that he pays the same (enormous) amount of attention to small items as he does to large ones.

    Is there a tie-out on the tarp underside to stabilize the pole, or what is the set-up there?
