They try to keep the park roads scraped but they are no doubt getting a ton of snow.
We'll have to monitor this situation and talk to GHSP staff this week.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

It snowing right now where I live and I am about 180 miles SW from Grayson. Imagine it snowing big time up there. Last time I attended the winter hang we were delayed being able to get to Grayson due to a snowstorm.

I am on two blood thinners
I am on one and that is bad enough as I never know how it is going to effect me. Some times I am fine in cold weather and sometimes I am freezing my *** off when it is warm outside.

Showed The Terminator the projected temps for the hang and she said I can't go. Told her she can come with me and we will bring the dogs, set up a tent and have a big puppy pile to stay warm.

I would volunteer my place but so far I only have about 6 spots suitable for hanging unless you like hanging on a steep hill.

    Looking pretty iffy.

A couple back up options have been mentioned.
    Linville Gorge or Yates Place.

The roads are pretty slick hear but it looks like the temps will get above freezing tomorrow and increasingly so Wed and Thurs, then dropping again.

I'll call GHSP tomorrow and see what they say.

Sure would like it to be on at Grayson. I haven't been up there in two years since last year was moved but I am still on to meet up at linville or Yates if need be.
It ain't always about hammer'n out the miles....Sometimes it's about just 'hanging out"!

More snow called for clt on friday so you can imagine how the mountains may be. I have looked at the Grayson forecast and it doesn't look any better.
