I would love to do some winter camping with a fire going. Looks like its normal below 15 degrees at night. I am not sure if a 50 degree UQ and 30 degree UQ will cut it for that kind of cold. I think I have the gear to glamp in that kind of cold weather. I was wondering if anyone would have an extra layer just incase.

I have a nice yummy homemade uq that has never failed me. It is 3 inches of apex or climashield I can't remember which but it is warm. You need to take care of the top. You are welcome to use it. It is not ultralight but we are car camping.

Weather has been warm hard to tell in January hopeing to see some snow fingers crossed ��

Man, we just got home from the Martinsville, VA area and is almost 70 for the past couple days.

I’m bringing shorts in Jan just in case.

Yea it's been warm here in linville and lake james should be getting colder in January they say hope so.
