It's a go still. Roads cleared to Massive Gap. Road into campground is stated to have been cleared by mother nature. The park reports to be weary of some icy patches. More snow over night. So I'm going in on Thursday still. Hopefully by noon. I will stop and get the parking passes for everyone. There is a bottle fill station at the ranger station, also a rest room that is always open. Keep your water in a cooler in your vehicle so it won't freeze. I will have a 5 gallon pot with lid to keep by the fire. Johnny house won't arrive till Friday.

I'm bailing out on this one. We are expecting a big winter event with snow and freezing rain in the triangle Thursday/Friday and in to Saturday. A 4.5 hour drive could turn in to 8 just getting there. I was ready for snow at Grayson but not ready for bad weather just getting there.

I'm on the fence, I'm concerned about getting there with the conditions on Friday. Hot Tent and gear are ready.

Not coming. No matter which direction/roads I would take from south Georgia or central TN are looking bad for Friday. Normal 8 hour drive could be all day and night. If hang location changes, will re-consider.

Everyone use your best judgement. You know danger is just safety out of place. What !?! Yea , getting here is gonna be different for everyone. That is the unknown. If you can land at the Park we have each other.

At this time looks as if I am going to need to be home due to the snow expected here. A bummer had gear ready ( new stuff to try also). If anything changes I may still make it Hickery thanks for all the hard work
