Advice please:
At normal low temps up there bottled gas stoves aren't much use, right? I'm assuming my Blackstone griddle won't work due to the cold.
I have a 35 year old MSR XG white gas stove. Might work.... might be a bomb!
As for dishes for the pot luck... how do we heat them?
I have no experience with morning temperatures below about 25F beyond boiling 2 cups of water.

I'm Pretty sure the 20 Lb. propane bottles will still work. Tonights low will be 22 degrees. I'm going to do another test run and sleep outside in my hammock. I'll light up my canistor stove in the morning and share my results.

My 20 pound propane tanks always work out in my backyard even in sub 0º temps. You should be good to go. Cook On for the masses.

I just realized that we haven't promoted the raffle.

A part of it pays for the port a jon and firewood, but the majority is donated to GHSP to both help the park and thank them for opening the campground to our group in the winter.

If you have new or used stuff to add to the raffle, it will be greatly appreciated.

If you know any venders,maybe ask them for a donation. We don't like to lean on them much because I know they get hit up bunches.

Id like to hear your preferences on this.. alot of debate. In colder weather do you sleep in your skivees confident in your rated quilts to stay warm in your hammock? Or do you put on all kinds of various clothing to match your needed insulation system? (whether you have the needed quilt requirements or not.

Is livermush anything like scrapple? I grew up on something called goetta. It is a wonderful mix of oats, pork, beef and spices. I will have to check the freezer, I may have some, and man, I really want some now.

PappyAmos if you have no coffee, we will drink Hickery’s coffee all up.

I can be bribed to make Cowboy Coffee on my 25 yr old MSR Dragon Fly. I still have my 6 Qt coffee pot. It does tend to noise pollute though, sounds like a 727 on the runway ready for take off.
I have no gigs scheduled and I'll be there unless the universe conspires against me.
