    Hello again, my friends.

    Greetings everyone,

I used to be a member of the forum but took a break for a couple of years while transitioning to older kids leaving the house and other life adventures. My youngest got back into cub scouts this fall and we just had a campout near Roosevelt Lake in Arizona, so it gave me a chance to brush up on my hammocking skills and catch up on the forum. I am retired now, so I can spend more time doing fun things in the piney woods...or desert as the case may be here in Arizona. Looking forward to leaning and laughing with the group again.

Boston Fan (Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, Celtics..)

    Welcome (back) from Texas!
My boys got out of Boy/Cub Scouts a couple of years ago, and my oldest (now 14, God help me) was not into camping for a year or two. Now he wants to build bushcraft "stuff" while camping, and my youngest always wants to hammock camp.
Glad to see another Dad out there - good luck and have fun!

Thanks Jakev! My older sons are in their 20s, but still love to camp. Youngest is ready to take to the woods as well. Cheers!
