Question Using the D-rings on a Hammock Gear Incubator effectively

I just got a new 0º Incubator that I can't wait to try, and I noticed that there are now 3 rings on each side as opposed to the two rings my 20º Incubator has. I never used the loops on my 20, although I have used the Dutch ridgeline clips, but I really like the triple loops and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to use them most effectively. My first thought is to just throw some shock cord over the ridgeline and tie them off, but is there anything "cleaner" that you could suggest?

    Thanks!

Shug, the only reason I asked is because I never see you using them on your videos! I'll take it from the man himself and stop worrying about them, thank you for helping me dial my hammocks in over the last decade!

Bungee works (or doesn’t work) differently in the cold. You may be in a situation were you want to give your main suspension bungee lines a break and distribute the load a bit. In that case, a line/bungee connected to those hooks and over the ridgeline would work. If I were to do that - because it wouldn’t be an “always” thing, I’d put some kind of clip on both ends of the cord so I could easily attach/detach when necessary.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

I didn't use the D-rings last year when I got the Incubator. Even in winter. Even at 0F. This year when it got colder I started using them because I did sometimes get cold spots that I couldn't quite shake. Got tired of trying to adjust perfectly.

W/ shock cord over the ridge line, I got rid of the cold very easily.

One side is always attached with a bowline. But easy to undo when I want to (for summer ) The other side I tie with a slip knot (basically half a shoelace bow, so everyone can definitely do this in their sleep). Very very easy to undo and redo for adjustment and way enough to hold the UQ. "Anything" that doesn't hold with one slip knots usually holds with a series of them. To undo, just pull.

I attach a piece of shock cord to the D ring with cord locks at either end so I can add or remove them easily. I don't always use them but last night I felt a cold spot and attached them and it went right away. Handy to have as a backup.

I use shock cord over the ridgeline and save myself a game of Tweak & Test. I just want to set it up and move on to other things, so I get it basically set and use a shock cord to make up for the time it would take to mess around. I'm lazy.
