Hey stevebo,

I have not done any trial and error so maybe this isn't very helpful. I also shortened my foot-end dogbones to about 34" so that affects the geometry as well. I made my ridgeline to ~ 11' 7". Really what I did was set it up and got the angles of the suspension as close to 25 degrees as I could (the recommended angle per Warbonnet) and measured the distance between the apexes of the dogbone triangles and made a ridgeline to that length.

I like the consistent sag that I get with a ridgeline. It does not add much weight(if any) as I was then able to eliminate the shock cord for the netting and just clip the net to the ridgeline. It also gives me a reference line to set my foot-high angle consistently.

Hope that helps.
