Great Smokies in January

Hey all,
I'm going backpacking with my Dad. First time in the Great Smoky Mountains and I'm trying to plan which sights to see and trails to hike. Any ideas from folks who have been there before? What did you enjoy most?

The views from the fire tower at Mt. Sterling can be awesome, especially at the beginning or end of a day.

Good point! I had forgot that like Mt Cammerer, Mt Sterling also has a fire tower!
