Warbonnet's got 15% off... but that Silpoly XL Winter Haven with end snaps seems to be calling my name.

I have a WB Superfly that I really, really like, but I have a SLD tarp that I absolutely love. Jared's work is almost impossible to beat, in quality and most definitely in customer service.
I have both. The Winter Haven with the snaps and the three poles inside is really a home away from home. It’s pretty bulky, so I only use it in the winter when I’m pulling a sled. If I remember I will take some comparison pics tomorrow.
I went with the HG Journey at 20% off.
Here's my Superfly (green, 21.15oz) and Winter Haven (gray, 31.20oz). Weights include bag, mesh sleeve, zingit, and tarp flyz.
The haven is a biggun, I only used it on a few winter trip when I was pulling the sled. And now that I hot tent in the winter I'll probably never use it again. I should sell it, but it's just so darn nice! Anyone considering one, I recommend the 2-pole setup. 3 is overkill IMO. Once I only used one center pole and it was still roomy inside.
Thanks for the info and pics! I've got a Cloudburst but after a recent trip with 30F temps and cutting wind all night, I figured I should add a winter tarp to my arsenal. I'm currently just car camping, so weight isn't too much of a concern for me.
The Superfly seems more than sufficient and I am sure I'd love it. Depending on if I go with a stock or custom Superfly, I'd save $100—$150 over the Winter Haven.
Winter Haven, I'm at ~$265: 12' Silpoly XL, RR side panel spacing, snaps on doors
Custom 12' Superfly with middle tieouts & pole pocket: $165
I'm leaning towards the WH for a few reasons:
- Extra interior space with XL fabric
- Jared
- Extras like end snaps, line locs
- Jared

I also went with the HG Journey. $145 all total with stakes, stake sack, tarp sleeve, and shipping.
