    I've not called them a wiz briars before but yeah there are a lot of little things on the ground that want to tangle you up when you're walking through.

    Most of the common areas are clear and some of us bring a weed eater or such to help clear the area.

    They are evil. It's like a green piece of barbed wire, a little bigger than a pencil lead. They don't look like much, but I am guessing they are stronger than amsteel.
    I do not know their proper name, I just know that name from family in the south. I was introduced to them at a young age when out bushwhacking and camping.
    Other names I have heard are bull briar, and cat briar.

    They can do some damage, and be tough to get out of once you are tangled up.
