New to hammock camping, still figuring out my preferred set-up, but have been enjoying the knowledge on these boards. I'm a real canoe-junkie at heart, and I've finally had enough of the tent life and am looking for a change.

Welcome aboard!
Moving to Duluth myself in a few months. Looking forward to getting a canoe and doing some trips with it in the coming years.
I love Duluth! It's a great jumping off place for adventures (North Shore) and the access to the outdoors in the midst of town is unreal. Lots of parks, trails and green space. What's bringing you to Duluth?
Welcome! I'm also new on the boards, but way over in California. I'd love to get into canoeing. Maybe I'll start this summer.
Hiking my own hike and hanging my own hang. This is where my happy is!

It was a trip to the Boundary Waters that set me on a course to hammocks. Sleeping on slabs of rock, sliding off the pad. I decided then there had to be a better way!
It you have beautiful places up there. Please share your trip reports and pictures.

Yeah, I feel so lucky that the Boundary Waters is only a few hours away.
Finally have a bit of snow around these parts.
