Hammock on Tour Du Mont Blanc?

I’ve been advised hammocking on the Tour du Mont Blanc is not feasible for lack of trees but the advise seems more speculation than experiential . Anyone here have first hand experience? It is an alpine hike and at much of it is above tree line, so I get the general view. Just wondering if any one has actually done it with a hammock?

Tensa makes a hammock stand for treeless situations that utilizes two specially adapted carbon fiber hiking poles. You might check out "Trekking Treez".
