I was active on Ed Speer's Yahoo Hammock group, then started hearing about the ability to post more on the new site (HF), and eventually moved here, but I'm not a charter member, by any stretch. Just Jeff, Angry Sparrow, Slowhike, and the other original mods really started us off right.

I got here Jan 07 after beginning hammock life on a Wind River Mountain trip Sept 06. Using my HH UL Explorer insulated with the HH Super Shelter. That trip started bad ( because of altitude sickness and hammock inexperience) but ended good. After that, I was a hammock fanatic. I well remember you from back in the day!
