Tensa Solo in the background allowing a bridge (DIY RSBTR) and GE to hang close together:

Volunteer in the bridge knew it was my first time setting up the Solo. Maybe you can detect the appropriate smile of confidence on her face, the relaxed posture of her body, etc.

How do you specify Full Size instead of a thumbnail when inserting a photo?

In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

Ooh. I've never thought of this use case. This might be the way I get my youngest (4yo) into a hammock all night without having to rig up a spreader bar for hammocks holding VASTLY different weights. Thanks!

As Ryan O'neal said to Ali MacGraw in Love Story (1970), "Having a Solo means never having to find the perfect second tree."

Cougarmeat, click “reply with quote” on my post here, then look at the HTML. The shorter HTML is what defaulted in when you uploaded the photo—and it appears in your post as a thumbnail image. The longer HTML is what I typed in to expand the photo. Just save that line of HTML to copy and paste in whenever you want to enlarge your photos in your post…just always substitute in the new photo’s unique ID # from the shorter line of HTML. (For example, the ID# for your photo here is 188974.)

Dublinlin, thank you. I will study that.

Usually, using the Attachments Manager, I get the larger image automatically. I would think there was some mechanism on that screen's designation that determines if the image will be a thumbnail or full size. I wonder if it is triggered automatically by the size of the graphic - like it is over a certain size, it is displayed as a thumbnail.

Sometimes, not often, both the thumbnail and full-size image show up. A mystery. Cosmic Rays?

Beats me! My screen never shows an “attachment manager” so I have to go old school every time and just paste in the long HTML line, substitute the ID portion with what’s in the thumbnail’s short HTML line, then delete the short line. Maybe you use Tapatalk? I don’t ever use tapatalk. I just view and post straight from my phone’s web browser.

Relatively new to hammocks. Once I learned you can hang a hammock with less than 2 trees I wanted to try. It's great to learn from everyone's experience here. I have started to experiment with the geometry and the physics of a one tree hang, and have created something functional. Just an Amazon Prime Days Hammock - the supports are black iron pipe I happened to have lying around, so it's definitely not lightweight. But I'm happy so far and looking forward to tweaking it from here. Thanks for all the guidance you have given this lurker.

I bought a Tensa Solo on the forums and just got the time to try it out. Decided to go for a "no-tree" hang from the truck. Other than being stinkin hot in Mississippi, it worked just fine. I'm sure I looked weird to my neighbors, but successful test.
