Not a tree, but a car: 2 hammocks, one Tensa4 stand in the West Texas borderlands and Slab City, California, on the way to HangCon in Florida from Portland, Oregon.
This “half Tensa4” configuration is often confused with more common bipod stands in which the poles are shorter and/or more upright, requiring strong ground anchoring. This way does not.
Probably any light tent/tarp stake would be fine to constrain the ground line. I used 40cm x 8mm ti nails, not driven all the way in, because I had them handy. I could alternatively have dug divots in the hard scrabble with for the feet to settle into, and then would have required ZERO staking.

Nice! I tend to set my Solo, or other single poles, at more of an angle than most I've seen but this is wonderfully extreme.
