    might as well introduce myself here

    I'm aljaklaw from the Fraser Valley of BC, and I like to hang from trees

    Nice spot! Welcome to the group...lots of helpful info and people on here. I'm over in Kimberley, BC near the Rockies, just hanging in my backyard for fun.

    Hanger from Kamloops. Have a few different hammocks, Hennessy, Chameleon, Dream hammock and waiting for my starlite with comforter. Built my own Turtle dogs so I hang in my yard instead of driving miles out of town to experiment with some hammock details. Also grabbed a Haven tent/hammock which are pretty good. In colder temps though I will be using a UQ hammock combo for sure.

    literally a 30 second walk from my car, but most people would walk right by the site not knowing it's there when it's empty

    I've eyed a Haven, I think it's much better than the Amok abomination

    I'll probably be making a portable hammock stand at some point, would be a turtledog design but with no hardware
