Incredible Photos!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for the encouragement, it is a stunning place that needs to be absorbed through all your senses.
Yes mate add them.
I was going to link this to the Tensa area eventually..when I nut out my thoughts.
Very happy with the quality of the Tensa4 product Communication and shipping
Ease of use , repeatable and stable.
It made this trip enjoyable.
I will set up the hexagram eventually but my wife is a lite sleeper and being tethered to 2 farting/burping Neanderthals for numerous nights would not have created family harmony.
She had only spent 1 complete night in the hammock before as she was convinced she would get motion sickness.
First night she used a pillow in the daughters hammock resulting in a sore neck/head ache so night 2 she switched to the back up swag but constant tossing and turning from sore hips had her try my BBxlc and she found her 'just rite'.
Looks like Brendons going to get an complete order soon.

Day 4
Up early for the walk around the rim of the Canyon.
Photos will be split into walk and Garden of Eden...when you see those it will make sense.
The contrasting red/black layers with green dispersed through out is reminiscent of the ' Bungle Bungles' in the Kimberleys to the north west.
When the wife was here 25 years ago it didn't have the keep away from the edge safety signs that spoilt the vista.
We had a nice sun tan by the time we finished.
Yea nice photos looks a neat place to visit
Its a good day to be out in the woods no matter the weather.Mist One..
Garden of Eden
This waterhole was only for the aboriginal men until a pastoralist built a road to the area to bring friends to see it.
The colours in the first photo match what our eyes were taking in.

Will keep an eye on you in the future, 2strokeit, and "Pay close attention to that man behind the curtain!"
Good pics mate...we do have a vast & varied backyard to explore.
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.

Day 5
Up early again today for the run north-east back into Alice.
Corrugations for 160 odd ks until the west Macdonnel Ranges start. The Larapinta Trail ends here at Mt Sonder if you started hiking at Alice 223 klms (140 miles) away. It has camp grounds at numerous gorges along the way but would be hard to leave the water at Glenn Helen to finish. One day we'll be back to do it.
Made it back into Alice with 3 litres left in the tank.
Adventures need suspense to make them memorable.
I got a wee giddy looking at this. Represented in OZ. Fair Dinkum~~
Shug
Whooooo Buddy)))) All Secure in Sector Seven
We spent a couple of days at the cattle station with the daughter.
My young bloke drove 4wds while chasing and branding cows and his sister taught him the art of fencing while I ripped out an engine and gearbox from an old landcruiser Ute. Finally found a couple of trees.
If you made it this far well done.
If your thinking of exploring the Red Centre
Do it.
