This past week was rough for me. After a negative COVID, positive Flu diagnosis Monday I made a mistake and triggered a food allergy I haven't experienced in 14 years. My heart rate didn't drop below 100 until yesterday.
I'd canceled a camping trip with my daughter last weekend when I came down with the flu and she still wanted to go, so we did a lazy man's recovery trip. Main focus was to figure out whether it would be possible for her and my wife to be in separate hammocks under the same tarp with the gear we have. Success. She's still small enough to share a hammock with the wife if she gets cold on her own, but this should be more comfortable for everyone and I still have the HG incubator 20* and hammock that I guess is now considered my 3 year old's setup. She seems to like it (understatement).
Second focus, let's see if I can catch any trout. Somebody forgot that rainbows spawn in the spring, not October!!!
Pre-spawn brown.
I was too lazy to take pictures of much else. Car camping allowed me to just bring firewood with us and build a big blazer, roast marshmallows, and hang out. I feel so much better tonight it's not even funny.
