2021 Black Friday Sales?

I just got my WBBB XLC and I LOVE it. It feels like such a huge upgrade after learning everything I know on my Hennessy Hammock Expedition for the last few years.

A thought just occurred to me though, black friday is right around the corner, I'm wondering if I should have just held off for a bit. Especially since I was on the fence about getting a single layer vs. double (I am a side sleeper, even in my hennessy half of the time - uncomfortably) and sided on the single due to cost. I know Warbonnet offers their 30 day buy-it-and-try-it policy, and I've spent maybe a total of 15 minutes actually laying in the hammock (I've spent more of my time tweaking my DIY tensahedron stand), but part of me feels a little guilty returning it just to buy a new one to save some money/upgrade to a double layer.

Am I overthinking this?


Also I'd like to say this my first post in these forums and want to say thank you to this community for all the help I've quietly gotten over the years. You guy's rock and this is by far the most laid back, toxic free online forum I've ever come across... I wonder why everyone's so relaxed?

If memory serves correctly, you'll spend more in freight returning your current hammock than the discount would be.

The other detail that could be a set back for your plans is that the sales are not predictable. They have sales on some things which vary year by year and not on other things. Also, the item you might want will stand a pretty decent chance of being out of stock if your are picky about color and suspension options.

I'd just keep what I have and enjoy this fine next few weeks with a hang or two, instead of waiting for a sale, and a package to arrive, while sitting at home, so that you can save enough to buy an extra lunch or two.

You'd be missing a prime time of year to hang.
