Hello, HF. My name is Micah from SW Iowa. I've always been into camping in hammocks, but just purchased my first "camping hammock" last year. In the past I just added a ridgeline to whatever cheap hammock I had laying around and wrapped up in a sleeping bag. I have a hand-me-down Eddie Bauer extra long down bag that easily wraps all the way around me and the hammock. I've been using the HH asym 4-season explorer, and love it, but I've since purchased a Myerstech hammock and other odds and ends to be a little more versatile depending on weather. Making my own amsteel suspension and getting back into sewing has been a lot of fun. Cheers!
