Am I the only one who considers the camo group easier, rather than harder to see? Those patterns draw my attention really quick, whereas a boring slate of grey or dark brown tend to disappear more imho.
Animals on the other hand may disagree.

I think you may be right about the patterns, though I guess it depends on background, light and shadow length. I have a solid brown mountainfly and I feel like that disappears surprisingly well. Gray would probably be even better (if that's an option). I do like that leafy woods camo, though.
