My perfect record of 0 wins and 8 losses has got me to declare I’m:

Maybe if I wear my Hawaiian shirt, the alcohol stove will be warmed by tropical winds

You are free to have archery targets, as long as all safety rules are followed

There were some talking about having a Gumbo Cook Off.

I’ll not be offering prizes for archery or gumbo

If you want to have an activity, contest, or lollygag, you are free get it organized here

Usually there are overnight backpackers venturing into Uwharries, and some day hikers too

We will have a Bottle Flip Contest with prizes for boys and girls and the young at heart

Saturday and Sunday morning will have Hot Chocolate for all youngsters and hammock creatures

Please pay $20 to cover costs of our hang
Saturday 12 noon meal by BBQJOES
Also this helps cover costs of firewood and prizes
No charge for kids or dogs

I take my wife to the airport on that Thursday in the a.m. It's her 50th high school reunion out there in Arizona. She has waited a while for that one. That means that there will be nobody at home looking after the dogs so I will plan to come for one night, probably on the Friday or perhaps on the Saturday, knowing how good the food is likely to be.

It seems like forever since the last time I've hung with a group because, well, it has been forever - nearly.

I've heard about this "lolygagging" and plan to work hard at it, but wonder if working hard at it disqualifies it as lolygagging. Hmmm.

Good to see all y’all cool kids planning on Yates.

So far, about 22 campers will be here, more will post later, and our friends in Tarheel State Hangers and Palmetto State Hangers and Gorge Rats are welcome.

We might get our friends from Penciltucky!

I won’t be posting much third week of October, gonna be backpacking all week
